I’m reading Gulwali Passarlay’s story of travelling, as a 12-year old Afghani refugee boy, from his home Nangahar province, to Europe, a truly harrowing year-long tale. People smuggling is a highly lucrative industry, one, that with climate change and greater political instability, will grow and grow.
