The scrawny old woman climbs through the window as she does every morning, to begin another day of smiling at, verbally abusing or clutching passersby, stroking her long white hair, adjusting the headscarf she dons summer and winter & trying to cope with a complicated mixture of dentures, crowded- & rotting teeth.
