Hoovered colonies of spiders, dusted, washed mildew off walls, mopped floors, vacuumed ceilings. Spiders so big you’d think they eat steak. Dog pee, rotting floorboards, once obviously gorgeous, the place now needs handyman, injection of cash, and a cleaner. Last time I shared, the rent was £110 a week less.
